I have discontinued the Mailed format due to recent changes in the Canada Post mailing process. Any printed patterns left are in my Etsy Shop. Sorry, but I no longer sell Mailed Patterns. The same patterns are available in Digital PDF, for you to download and have printed full size locally. I appreciate your business since 2001, and look forward to selling you digital plans.

Digital PDF Full Size Patterns

All plans are available in downloadable PDF format that will print the same FULL SIZE patterns as the mailed version, at most local print shops with a 24” (60cm) wide plotter. If you are purchasing multiple plans, it is best to have a few done together, to save set up fees. Plotters are usually available at Office Depot, Staples, FedEx, UPS or Kinkos. The PDF file is not pass code protected for printing. If the printer has any issues, your memory stick can be input directly into the plotter. The PDF is protected against editing, and may not work in some online printing submissions. These Digital PDF files are not transferable to DWG or DXF, for CNC programs. You will receive an email with the instructions and pattern links within 24 hours of ordering. Please check your SPAM, TRASH or JUNK folders for the subject line Adirondack Plans, if you don’t see the email in your in-box. All instructions are produced in PDF, with materials list and quantities in standard and metric dimensions. All steps are accompanied by expandable colour images that will open in a new window to 4”x6” (10cmx15cm), for a closer view. Unfortunately a few older plans have static images. Download Adobe Reader to expand the text size. POLICY: All sales are final once I have emailed the pattern PDF and instructions.

DWG files for CNC routers

All plans are available in DWG format that can be imported into CNC applications and converted by your CNC software. You will be emailed the assembly instructions and DWG file, within 24 hours of payment. Clicking the icons will auto download the files. Most plan pattern quantities are laid out vertically, on a 4’x6’ (122cmx183cm) bed size. Each plan page description indicates the minimum bed size needed to lay out the longest parts. Most will fit diagonally on a 1000mm x 1000mm or 30-inch square CNC bed. If necessary, you will just have to separate them from the file and angle them accordingly, corner to corner. Every CNC set up is different and you will need to verify the layout in relation to your CNC parameters and tooling, for clearances. Twenty years ago, I built plansinwood.com with a friends help, in hopes of selling plans for items I had produced over the years. I now sell those original downloadable plans for games, clocks, and tables, specifically through Bear Woods Supply under The Barley Harvest name. This new 20th anniversary site, only sells my Adirondack style plans, in digital format. Since 2001, I have expanded my sales channel to Etsy, giving more exposure to my products, with over 400 positive reviews.
